Founders Series: Featuring STASH Co-Founder, David Ronick
The Founders Series is a set of virtual events highlighting some of the most prominent Brown alumni founders in the University’s recent history. Events are split between the founding story of a seasoned entrepreneur, a panel discussion with early-stage founders, and virtual community networking.
The second event of the Founders Series features David Ronick, Co-Founder of STASH, a technology company valued at nearly $1 billion which has helped over 4.5 million people start investing and saving, Vivian Rosenthal, Co-Founder of Snaps, a platform for conversational AI, and Naeem Zafar, Co-Founder & CEO of TeleSense, an Agtech company providing wireless monitoring solutions. The event is hosted by Brown University Entrepreneur in Residence, Arnell Milhouse.
Virtual Networking
The event will provide a venue for individuals in the Brown Alumni community to meet their next co-founder, advisor, partner, customer or employee. Via our virtual one-on-one networking, participants will engage with aspiring or established entrepreneurs, investors and both young and seasoned professionals alike.
Speakers
David Ronick, Co-Founder, STASH
Most recently, David co-founded Minded, a direct-to-consumer telehealth company that provides a better way to renew and refill medication for anxiety and depression. Prior to co-founding Minded and STASH, David founded WinWin, which uses mobile games with cash prizes to help people save money. He is also an LP in TheFund, an early stage fund, and is a mentor at TechStars. He holds a B.A. in English and History from Brown.
Vivian Rosenthal, Co-Founder, Snaps
Most recently, Vivian co-founded both Frequency, an emotional wellness platform that fosters consciousness and mindfulness, and Lavva, a plant-based yogurt. She holds a B.A. in Architecture from Brown.
Naeem Zafar, Co-Founder & CEO, TeleSense
Outside of his work on TeleSense, Naeem serves as a Professor of Entrepreneurship at Brown and as Chair of OPEN Silicon Valley, a nonprofit that promotes entrepreneurship via mentorship and workshops. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brown.

Arnell Milhouse, Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR), Brown University, Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship
In addition to his role as an EIR at Brown, Arnell is the Founder of the CareerDevs Computer Science Institute, a leading supplier of software engineering talent in Rhode Island, and IntraCity Geeks, a K-12 STEM education organization. He received a degree in Business Management and Computer Science from Johnson & Wales University.
